L’Entropiste, Paris FR

Concept Design, Local Architect & Project Management

When L’Entropiste approached us, their vision for perfume retail was radical: an olfactory world at the crossroads of chaos and harmony, crafted by master perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour, the “Master of Disorder.”

Fairerol translated this ethos into space, material, and experience—developing the concept design and overseeing the rollout of the first boutique in the Marais, Paris. The result is more than a store: it is an immersive mise-en-scène where visitors become aesthete-explorers, deconstructing and reconstructing their own sensory journey.

Anchored by tribal references, sculptural furniture, symbolic motifs, and the brand’s striking palette of off-black, off-white, and red, the boutique embodies dualities—familiar yet unknown, grounded yet kinetic. At its heart, The Lab offers a glimpse into creation itself, turning retail into a living, multi-sensory narrative.

For L’Entropiste I wanted to build more than a store — I wanted to build a landscape for the senses.
We translated Bertrand Duchaufour’s ‘Master of Disorder’ into a space where geometry, material and light collide, and where each visitor becomes an explorer, able to deconstruct and reconstruct their own experience around the fragrance.
